Religion is seen as being controversial around the world but when you think about it, we are all one, no matter what our religion is. Plus, most religions have similar beliefs so, it shouldn't be too hard to get along. I am going to talk about the three most popular religions in the world: Christianity, Islam and Hinduism.

Christianity

With over 2.1 billion followers, Christianity is the most popular religion in the world. I feel like people confuse Christianity for being super holy and having to wear white gowns, but that's not the case. Christianity is all about love. Loving God, loving yourself and loving each other

Islam

Here's a look at Islam. The word Islam translates as "submission" or "surrender." Surrender to the will of Allah - Arabic for God. Islam teaches that God is merciful, all-powerful, and unique, and has guided mankind through prophets, revealed scriptures and natural signs.

Hinduism

Hinduism is the religion of the majority of people in India and Nepal. In some ways Hinduism is the oldest living religion in the world, or at least elements within it stretch back many thousands of years. Hindus believe in the doctrines of samsara (the continuous cycle of life, death, and reincarnation) and karma (the universal law of cause and effect).

Conclusion

Religion isn't a title. You don't just say "I'm a Christian" or "I'm a Muslim" or "I'm a Jew". It's something that you believe in; a way of life; faith that whatever God you believe in will help you. Anybody and everybody with a religion should show love and care because no matter what your religion is, you will always believe in goodness. We are all the same, no matter what our religion is.
